Exceptions:
New York State has a mortgage tax (so
does New York City). The ZeroZeroRefinance.com offer does not
include paying for the cost of
either the New York State or New York City mortgage tax.
Also, many people save on paying the mortgage tax by executing
a "Consolidation and Modification Agreement." While
that agreement eliminates the need for any mortgage tax, most

Florida has a documentary stamp
tax and an intangibles tax that is placed on refinance loans.
The cost is approximately $550 per $100,000 borrowed. The ZeroZeroRefinance.com
offer does not include paying for the cost of
either of these Florida taxes.
